What this guide covers
- How to open company settings.
- How to review and change permissions.
- How to control what staff can see in the app.
- How to open week management from settings.
How it works
Settings and permissions help you shape the app around your team. This is where owners and admins control access, visibility, and company-wide setup.
Make changes here when you want to change what staff can see or do, rather than trying to work around it in day-to-day use.
Common workflows
Review staff access
Open role permissions, check what each role can do, and update anything that no longer fits the team.
Change what staff can browse
Use app settings to control whether staff can browse clients, sites, team details, or other shared areas.
Steps
Open the settings area
Web app -> More -> Settings- 1Open `More`, then `Settings` from the left-hand nav.
- 2Choose the tab you want to review, such as `App customisation`, `Role permissions`, or `Week management`.
- 3Work in one section at a time so the changes stay clear.
Review permissions
Settings -> Role permissions- 1Open the `Role permissions` tab.
- 2Check what each role can see or edit.
- 3Save the changes once the access matches how your team works.
Update company-wide app settings
Settings -> App customisation- 1Open the app settings you want to change.
- 2Update the visibility or behaviour setting you need.
- 3Save the change and check the affected area if you want to confirm the result.
Open week management
Settings -> Week management- 1Open the `Week management` tab.
- 2Review the year setup, week labels, or closure periods you want to change.
- 3Save the changes once your planning setup looks right.
Tips
- Change permissions here instead of relying on workarounds in daily use.
- Review staff visibility settings when a role changes or a new team member joins.
- Make one settings change at a time when you are testing something new.
